YardCard Elite
Helps yard card rental owners take bookings and keep track of every sign they own, so busy weekends don't turn into a scramble.
Benchbuilt grew out of 15 years in industrial distribution, the last 10 spent on plant floors figuring out why things break and what would make the work easier. Now we build custom apps, websites and automation for businesses like yours. We start with a conversation about how your work actually gets done, and build from there.

Keeps track of what's on a restaurant's shelves by counting ingredients every time a dish sells, so nobody finds out at 6 p.m. that they're out.
A touchscreen that shows a scannable WiFi code for visitors. It sets itself up from the screen, updates from your phone, and turns out to be a bit of a conversation piece, too.
Got something that should be easier? This spot's open.
Most off-the-shelf software makes you change how you work to fit it. We go the other way. We learn your process first, then build something that fits it.
Scheduling, inventory, quoting, tracking. If part of your business runs on a spreadsheet, a whiteboard or somebody's memory, we can probably build you something better. You'll see it take shape along the way, not just at the end.
A clean, fast site that tells people what you do and makes it easy to reach you. We write it in plain language, and we're still around when it needs updating.
Small automation jobs, data collection, and the kind of projects that are too small for a big integrator but too technical to keep sitting on the to-do list. We've spent a lot of time on plant floors, so we speak the language.
Not sure where your project fits? That's fine. Tell us what's bugging you and we'll figure it out together.
Software projects have a reputation for running long, costing more than anyone planned, and ending with something nobody uses. We work in small steps so that doesn't happen to you.
We start by listening. You tell us what's working, what isn't, and what you wish would just take care of itself. If you're close by, we're happy to come see it in person. The first conversation is free, and there's no pressure.
We put together a written plan and quote, without the technical jargon, that spells out what we'll build, what it'll cost, and about how long it'll take. If something doesn't make sense, ask. If we're not the right fit, we'll tell you that too.
You won't wait months to see something. We check in as we go and show you working pieces early, so you can tell us what feels right and what doesn't. Changing course early is cheap. Changing it at the end isn't.
When it's ready, we help you and your people get comfortable using it. After that, we're still here. Whether it's a question, a fix or your next idea, you'll have a number to call and someone who knows how it was built.
Benchbuilt started on the plant floor. Our founder, Tobi Huebbe, has spent 15 years in industrial distribution, the last 10 in outside sales, walking plants, fab shops and production lines across Iowa and Illinois. Most days that meant figuring out why something kept breaking, and what would make the work easier for the people doing it.
Along the way, he kept building software on the side, eventually including full apps like YardCard Elite and PantryPro. Benchbuilt is where that work lives now.
We're a small shop, and we use modern tools to work like a bigger one. That includes AI. It helps us write code, test ideas and move faster, which keeps your costs down. It doesn't replace the conversation, the judgment or the person who answers when you call. Every project is planned, checked and stood behind by a real person.
Call, text or email, whichever is easiest for you. Tell us a little about what's going on, and we'll get back to you the same business day. No sales pitch, just a conversation.
