YardCard Elite
Helps yard card rental owners take bookings and keep track of every sign they own, so busy weekends don't turn into a scramble.
The problem
Yard card rental businesses put up those big lettered birthday and graduation displays in people’s front yards. The work looks simple from the curb. Behind it is a pile of moving parts: which letters and signs are on hand, which are already booked for Saturday, what the customer actually ordered, and whether it’s been paid for.
Most small operators run all of that from texts, a calendar and a garage full of plastic. That works until a busy weekend, when two orders need the same letters.
What we’re building
YardCard Elite gives the customer and the owner two sides of the same system.
- For the customer, a booking page that shows what their display will look like before they rent it.
- For the owner, order tracking, inventory that knows which signs are spoken for on which dates, and payments in one place.
- A ready-made sign library, so a new business can get set up by entering how many of each sign they already own instead of building a catalog from scratch.
Where it stands
The booking flow and the layout engine that arranges a display are working. The remaining work is on the business side: holding inventory while an order is in progress, per-business pricing and the finished sign library. Screenshots will go up here once it’s out of the shop.
