PantryPro

Keeps track of what's on a restaurant's shelves by counting ingredients every time a dish sells, so nobody finds out at 6 p.m. that they're out.

The problem

A restaurant’s point-of-sale system knows exactly how many cheeseburgers sold today. It has no idea how many buns, patties and slices of cheese that took out of the walk-in. That gap gets filled with clipboard counts, guesswork and the occasional surprise in the middle of a dinner rush.

What we’re building

PantryPro picks up where the point-of-sale system leaves off. Each menu item is tied to its ingredients, so every sale counts down what’s on the shelf.

  • Live inventory that drops as dishes sell, not just when someone counts.
  • Ordering and vendor management, so reordering starts from real numbers.
  • Reporting that shows what’s being used, what’s being wasted and what’s running low.

Where it stands

The core pieces are built and being finished. Screenshots will go up here once it’s out of the shop.
